Windows Phone 7: What Phones, Which Networks?

11 Windows Phone 7 handsets, five UK networks. If you’re finding it hard to keep up with all the announcements from WP7 launchyesterday you’re not alone. So here’s one single place where you can find a breakdown of each model and details on which networks they’ll appear.

HTC HD7 A monster with 4.3in 480 x 800 pixel display, backed up by the ubiquitous Qualcomm MSM8250 1GHz chipset, a choice of 8GB or 16GB of internal memory and a 5MP camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and 720p video recording. Weighs in at a substantial 162g, but it is reasonably pocket friendly at 162g and packs in Dolby Mobile and SRS Surround Sound. HTC’s flagship WP7 device.

UK Networks: O2 (initially exclusive) – on sale from 21 October

HTC 7 Mozart 3.7in 480 x 800 screened powerhouse with 8GB of native storage (WP7 doesn’t support memory cards), an 8MP camera with autofocus, Xenon flash and 720p video recording. Also powered by a Qualcomm MSM8250 1GHz chipset (the same chipset used in all HTC’s Windows Phone 7 handsets).

UK Networks: Orange (initially exclusive) – on sale from 21 October
